GBS Holiday Party Sunday, 12/12, 5PM

Come over to the shop on Sunday 12/12 at around 5PM and join Clark and Eddie, err Adam and Ruda, for a little holiday merriment and shop decorating. We are looking for some good 'ol fashioned tacky holiday decorations for the shop so if you have something you are looking to pawn off bring it on in and we'll display it with pride.
Food and fun will be provided, drinks will not be. This is a BYOBeverage event.

Pivot Mach 5.7 Review
Here is a nice review that one of the School of Mines guys that frequents the shop had to say about the new Pivot Mach 5.7. Check it out...
““Universal fit”, it is commonly interpreted as “this product fits nothing well”. After spending some time on this bike I can say with confidence, the Pivot 5.7 re-defines “Universal fit”. This bike does it all, and does it very well. I have been in search for the perfect trail bike; one I can easily do a 5 hour ride on but one that lets me leave my friends behind on the descents. I have ridden many other bikes and the 5.7 is the one for me. I am mostly a cross country racer but like to dabble in downhill racing, and most of all I like riding gnarly awesome trails. The 5.7 is especially ideal for the Front Range style of riding, climb straight up then come right back down. It climbs like an XC race bike but descended like an all mountain bike. With the pro-pedal on there is virtually pedal feedback or bob, and it is on the light end of trail bikes. Yet on the DH, it uses its travel smoothly and efficiently, no blowing through, or not using the last inch, just a very predictable and plush accommodating feel.It is light in the air and flickable yet stable in the corners. The 5.7 is truly unique ride.”
Review courtesy of Joe Schneider. Joe is currently the Colorado School of Mines cycling team captain and racked up an impressive 3rd in the 2010 Collegiate MTB Nationals D2 Omnium (XC, STXC, 4X, DH).
Come on in and check one out for yourself and take the magic home!
