Trails Use Task Force Meeting - 5/25 7pm

A message from our friends at COMBA:

COMBA would like to inform every mountain biker in Jefferson County of the Trails Use Task Force meeting this Tuesday, May 25th at 7:00 pm.

WHY? Because we feel that it is important for the members of OSAC and Jeffco to understand that we are still VERY MUCH involved in what is happening in our county and with our trails.

Come on by and meet the NEW Director of Open Space, Tom Hoby.

Please continue to show your interest and concern in the decision making regarding our trails in the Jeffco area by attending this meeting. Maybe if we can demonstrate how intelligent and passionate we are about mountain biking in Jefferson County, our passion will engender better cooperation and understanding among all user groups.

Bike Junkie Party Totals are in!!!

The totals are in, the checks have been delivered.

Golden Bike Shop "Bike Junkies Party 2010" raised over $4000! $1900 went to American Mountaineering Museum & Mountaineering Center. $1900 went to Colorado Trail Foundation. $500 went to COMBA.

Thanks again to all of our Bike Junkie Party attendees and helpers! The event was a huge success - we could not have done it without you!

Demo Day on Sunday, May 16th is a GO!!

After a little midday trail recon at White Ranch by a few folks from the shop to make sure the trails aren't to messy, the Demo Day has been given the thumbs up and is GOOD TO GO.

Don't forget to preregister to get out on the trails faster!!

Bike Junkie Party was a SELL OUT Success!!

Thanks everyone for coming out to the event last night. We had an awesome time and tt certainly appeared like everyone had a blast AND helped us to raise a bunch of cash for the CTF and COMBA.
